Experience a Free-Spirited Festive Season in Southern Thailand’s Idyllic Islands

Trio of lifestyle resorts in Koh Phi Phi, Phuket and Koh Samui unveil a series of immersive activities this December, including cultural experiences, environmental adventures, family programmes and more, to help every guest create magical memories

SAii Resorts, the free-spirited lifestyle brand from S Hotels and Resorts PCL, the leading Thai hospitality investment and management company, has unveiled a series of immersive festive celebrations at its beachfront resorts in Southern Thailand that will help all guests to uncover the natural, cultural and culinary wonders of the “Land of Smiles” at this enchanting time of year.

Throughout December, couples and families at SAii Phi Phi Island Village, SAii Laguna Phuket and SAii Choengmon Koh Samui will be able to embark on highly authentic journeys that are inspired by the spirit of their destination.

Nestled on an 800-metre-long private sandy beach, SAii Phi Phi Island Village sets the scene for tropical festive escapes

With signature brand concepts such as Lèn Spa, which offers a personalised path to wellbeing, Mr. Tomyam, the bright Thai-inspired restaurant, and Miss Olive Oyl, the stylish Mediterranean-style bar and grill, plus a wide range of activities that connect visitors with the local community and environment, every SAii Resort is ready to add a sense of “Thainess” to the upcoming festive season…

Festive eco-escapes at SAii Phi Phi Island Village

At SAii Phi Phi Island Village, which is nestled amid 70 acres of coconut groves with a private 800-metre-long white sandy beach, guests can experience a sustainable Christmas and New Year with plenty of opportunities to get outdoors, discover nature and protect the environment.

The traditional festive decorations will be centered around an original driftwood Christmas tree, to create a wonderfully warm and rustic feel, and travellers can join the resort’s team in a series of eco-sensitive activities.

At the resort’s Marine Discovery Centre, a colourful and interactive facility which is dedicated to preserving the ocean, families can join marine biologists and learn about bamboo shark conservation and clownfish breeding programmes, help to plant mangroves, take a kayaking trip to clean-up the precious coastal ecosystems, and even enjoy snorkelling adventures to see the newly-generated coral reef.

Maya Bay, the breath-taking cove that inspired the Leonardo DiCaprio movie “The Beach,” can also be visited on small-scale excursions led by local guides on Thai long-tail boats.

Naturally, SAii Phi Phi Island Village will also be staging a full calendar of “A Sparkling Escape” and festive dining experiences, including sparkling Christmas buffets enhanced with Thai classical dance performances, a dramatic fire show and a special appearance from Santa!

Guests can then ring in the New Year with live music and dancing, culminating with a spectacular firework display as the clock ticks down to midnight. Find more details about the special offers here.
