Krispy Kreme celebrates Independence Day of Republic of Indonesia by collaborating with Snazzy Boom, an Indonesian Small and Medium Enterprise (SME) that offers two doughnuts topped with Arum Manis or Rambut Nenek, Cotton Candy Doughnut and Pink Doughnut starting 8th of August – 31st of August 2023.
Celebrating Independence Day by teaming up with SME is not only a great way to mark the occasion but also supports local businesses and fosters community engagement. Krispy Kreme is doing something different this year by presenting local delicacies that is loved by many Indonesians in the doughnut.
“Despite the fact that Krispy Kreme is an American doughnut brand, they highly value local wisdom. We can get creative with doughnut flavours, so then this year Krispy Kreme in Indonesia carries “Bangga Buatan Indonesia” by showcasing two new doughnut flavours topped with Arum Manis by a local growing bra.nd, Snazzy Boom. This is also Krispy Kreme’s first partnership with SME, which hopefully will bring happiness by bringing up childhood snack that we used to eat,” said Avilia, Brand Manager Krispy Kreme.
Snazzy Boom is a local business with the primary purpose of preserving and developing local Indonesian food so that they can compete with global food products and undoubtedly, the partnership with Krispy Kreme will raise awareness of Indonesian treats. Snazzy Boom and Krispy Kreme have something in common, both provide happiness to their customers, so we hope that Kripsy Kreme doughnut topped with Snazzy Boom will be accepted and deliver happiness as well, said Ryan Angkawijaya, Founder of Snazzy Boom.
Krispy Kreme will have Cotton Candy Doughnut and Pink Doughnut on 8th – 31st August 2023. Cotton Candy Doughnut is filled with milky cream and topped with Original Snazzy Boom Arum Manis. While Pink Doughnut is doughnut filled with custard and topped with Frambozen Raspberry Arum Manis.
