Lift Lobby
From the guest rooms to the public areas, Remedios Studio also helmed the design of the lift lobby to transform it from a transitional space into an engaging one that is both generous and welcoming.
Replete with art and collected objects on open shelves, the lift lobby is meticulously curated to make guests feel as though they are stepping into the entrance hall of a beautiful home, conjuring a “homecoming” experience of great taste and refinement which prolongs as guests make their way through the corridor to their guest rooms.
A rich but unassumingly neutral palette with contrasts of polished and matte surfaces along with light versus dark is carried throughout the spaces for a consistency of the overall look and feel.
About Peter Remedios
Peter Remedios is the Design Principal and Managing Director of Remedios Studio. Having moved from his base in Long Beach, California to Hong Kong, Peter brings over 30 years of experience and expertise in the fields of high-end hotel/resort design, restaurants, luxury residential as well as SPA projects.
In 2010, Peter set up Remedios Studio in Hong Kong, helping the studio garner a reputation for innovation and creative design. Within his creative playground, he displays an infectious passion for design, directing, mentoring and motivating the highly creative design team at Remedios Studio to achieve excellence. Peter was also the proud recipient of the prestigious Platinum Circle Award in 2010.
About Remedios Studio
Remedios Studio (RS) was founded by Peter Remedios in 2007 in California and subsequently set up the Hong Kong office in 2010. It is an internationally recognised architecture / design studio specializing in the design of high-end hospitality and residential projects.
