Meatsmith Launches New Lunch Set Menu and Exciting October Events that You Should Not Miss

A list of exciting programs that will happen at Meatsmith in October, from a new lunch set menu to a sake dinner collaboration.

To meet the market demands, Meatsmith has launched a new lunch menu to cater to customers’ protein fixes during the busy noon. Chef Aga Alvian has prepared a specially designed feature menu that includes three delightful dishes, each served with complimentary salad, a side dish, dessert, and a glass of non-alcoholic beverage. “We want to offer something quick, delicious, and filling for our busy customers during lunch,” said Aga.

Meatsmith’s special lunch menu comprises three packages as follows:

Roasted Chicken Set (IDR 255,000 ++)
Roasted Chicken, Mixed Salad, Smashed Fried Potato, S’mores Tart, Southern Iced Tea/Hibiscus Lemonade.

Striploin Set (IDR 450,000 ++)
250G Striploin MB2+, Mixed Salad, Smoked Potato Puree, S’mores Tart, Southern Iced Tea/Hibiscus Lemonade.

Salmon Set (IDR 355,000 ++)
Salmon Steak, Garlic Bread, Mixed Salad, S’mores Tart, Southern Iced Tea/Hibiscus Lemonade.

The special lunch menu is available starting October from Monday to Friday from 11:30 am to 3 pm. Welcoming the tenth month of the year, Meatsmith has also prepared exciting programs for its loyal customers.

Sake Dinner and Highball Afterparty

On Friday, 14 October 2022, Meatsmith will hold an exciting dinner collaboration with Sake Central & Sundays Spirits featuring Elliot J. Faber. Elliot is the founding Beverage Director for Michelin-starred Yardbird Hong Kong (2011) and RŌNIN (2013). He is the co-founder of Sundays Spirits and the owner of AWA AWA.

In 2016, Elliot received the award of ‘Sake Samurai’ from the Japan Sake Brewers Association Junior Council, an honor that only a few people have received. Elliot is also the co-author and producer of the award-winning SAKE: The History, Stories and Craft of Japan’s Artisanal Breweries.

The event will feature a 6-course set menu for IDR 600.000 ++ (basic) and an 8-course set menu for IDR 750.000 ++ (premium) with several signature dishes from 5 pm onwards. Some of the dishes are going to be served together with a type of sake pairing, such as:

  • Smoked Quail Egg with Potato Nest, Caviar, and Sour Cream
  • Oysters with Sake Lime Dressing and Daikon Crisp
  • Chicken Wings with House-Made Tare and Lemon

The dishes above will be paired with Sake Central ‘Sari Black’ Junmai Daiginjo Karakuchi, Fukui. There will also be other dishes to be paired with different types of sake such as:

  • Smoked Brisket with Dry Noodle, Tahini Chili Oil Sauce & Garlic Chips, paired with Shiokawa Junmai Genshu Yamahai.
