Amanyara Launches New Legends Program with Elite Tennis Icons

Located on a pristine stretch of a private white sand beach in Turks & Caicos, Amanyara offers a tranquil and rejuvenating getaway for travellers searching for seclusion and access to the great outdoors and nearby marine life. 

Removed from the rest of the world, Amanyara is a set on the shores of an 18,000 acre nature reserve complete with newly refurbished standalone pavilions that embrace indoor-outdoor living, each with a terrace and wooden sundeck surrounded by coastal vegetation.

Amanyara’s abundance of space makes it an ideal location for sports and recreation with guests able to take advantage of outdoor tennis courts, a full size soccer field, a professional boxing studio as well as wellness activities.

To celebrate its 15th anniversary year, the resort has launched the Amanyara Legends program, featuring a series of clinics throughout the year with icons in the world of sports. Following on from the success of a two-day clinic led by tennis great Maria Sharapova in February, this spring will see the world renowned doubles stars the Bryan Brothers at Amanyara leading guests through drills, practice and match play.

Retired doubles tennis champions, twins Mike and Bob Bryan are the most successful tennis duo of all time, having won several Olympic medals and the most professional games and tournaments in history. As torchbearers for doubles tennis, the popular number one team will be in residence at Amanyara working with beginners and seasoned players to improve their tennis game. The one-hour clinics will be held over three days and will include a youth clinic as well as an intimate dinner one evening with for up to six guests.

The one-hour clinics rates are $375 ++ per person; Youth clinic $150 ++ per child and the special dinner with the Bryan Brothers is $600 per person.

In keeping with Amanyara’s continued commitment to supporting the local community, all proceeds will benefit the Edward C. Gartland Youth Centre. A local non-profit organization, the centre offers the youth of Providenciales with a range of after school activities, allowing children to learn, develop skills and have fun in one great place.

In addition to Maria Sharapova, past tennis stars at Amanyara have included Women’s World #4 Sophia Kenin who chose the resort as her pre-season training location in 2020.
