Banyan Tree Group’s wellness-centric brand Veya will plant a flag in the hills of Baja California just 90 minutes from the U.S. border with the opening of Banyan Tree Veya, Valle de Guadalupe in early-2024 – marking the first Banyan Tree Veya to open in the Americas and only the second in the world.

Designed by acclaimed Mexican architect Michel Rojkind, Veya Valle de Guadalupe’s sleek and modern design effortlessly blends into the rolling hills and bespoke vineyard to create a tranquil sanctuary that harnesses the powerful beauty of its natural surroundings.

Featuring 30 spacious villas, all which feature their own private plunge pool, the retreat will also be home to a trio of standout culinary outlets perched atop a hill that celebrate the local food scene; signature Veya Spa; various wellbeing experiences including a desert spring hydrotherapy, traditional temazcal and apothecary garden; and a private winery which will debut its own exclusive collection of wines dedicated solely to Grenache featuring reds, whites, rosés and sparkling house blends.

Situated within the enchanting destination of Valle de Guadalupe, guests will become immersed in the brand’s proprietary ‘8 pillars of wellbeing’ with an emphasis on embodiment therapies and somatic practices to embark a path of discovery that starts with empowerment and understanding of the mind and body.
