Greener Commitment – Straw Discontinuation
Subway began an initiative to eliminate the usage of plastic straws in late September 2023. Subway made the deliberate decision to no longer offer straws at any of its restaurants, despite previously using paper straws to contribute to environmental conservation and minimize plastic waste. Subway hopes that this small effort toward eliminating straw use will have a positive and meaningful impact on the environment.
