- Singapore Tourism Board takes future travel to a new level in Southeast Asia with the “SingapoReimagine Pose Now” campaign on TikTok
- A creative collaboration with leading content creators to reimagine Singapore by introducing new and unexpected experiences.
Singapore Tourism Board (STB) invites explorers to virtually experience Singapore’s newest and iconic world-class offerings through “SingapoReimagine Pose Now” campaign, a branded effect on TikTok. The interactive campaign aims to build the excitement of visiting Singapore in collaboration with content creators who will inspire people to participate in the fun TikTok activity.
The campaign will be launched on 17 January 2022 and run until 17 March 2022 as the first SingapoReimagine campaign on TikTok for Southeast Asia that will be simultaneously launched in Indonesia, Thailand, Vietnam and Malaysia.
SingapoReimagine focuses on introducing new standards of travelling through new experiences and elevated standards in technology, sustainability and safety in Singapore. The “SingapoReimagine Pose Now” campaign will introduce a filter that allows people to virtually visit and pose at each of the iconic attractions and have the feeling of being transported to Singapore through the TikTok effect. New and exciting attractions in Singapore to inspire future travel include Museum of Ice Cream, the first ever museum in Asia with multisensory and interactive installations, the historical yet full of surprises Fort Canning Spiral Staircase, and the iconic HSBC Rain Vortex at Jewel Changi Airport, the tallest indoor waterfall in the world.
“Our first SingapoReimagine campaign on TikTok is an exciting initiative to introduce a reimagined Singapore through fun and interactive ways that feature new and exciting experiences. We are happy to collaborate with a group of diverse and creative content creators across key source markets in Southeast Asia to engage with TikTok users to participate and join this innovative virtual Singapore experience,” said John Gregory Conceicao, Executive Director, Southeast Asia, Singapore Tourism Board.
To encourage TikTok users to participate in the campaign, STB is working with top local Tiktok influencers from different markets. In Indonesia, STB is working with Pandhu Waskita (@BackpackerTampan), Sofyan Pratama (@sofyansap), Kelly Courtney (@kellycourtneyy), Wira Nurmansyah (@wiranurmansyah), Farhan Bashel (@farhanbashel) and Michael Simangunsong (@michael.simangunsong).
These dynamic line-ups will enliven TikTok with their creative expressions using the “SingapoReimagine Pose Now” brand effect as well as videos which shares their memorable experiences and travel aspirations to build anticipation for their next holiday to Singapore soon.
One of the content creators who started his travel journey in Singapore, Pandhu Waskita @BackpackerTampan, with 1.6 million followers on TikTok shared his excitement for the “SingapoReimagine Pose Now” campaign. “Singapore has always been a special place for me as it was the first destination that I visited on my backpacking journey. I love the creative idea behind this campaign because it allows us to virtually travel, share creative videos and win a prize at the same time!” says Pandhu.
STB is also rewarding creative submissions by TikTok users trying out the “SingapoReimagine Pose Now” branded effect. To participate, TikTok users simply have to follow @visit_singapore account on TikTok, upload a video using the “SingapoReimagine Pose Now” branded effect and tag three friends. STB will announce four winners who will receive attractive prizes including e-wallet vouchers every two weeks throughout the campaign period from 17 January 2022 to 17 March 2022.
STB hopes that this regional campaign across its key source markets will garner positive responses and keep the destination interest high in the hearts and minds of digitally savy audiences.
