Da Maria’s Regional Italian Dinner Series returns

Feast on the Flavors of Rome April 16 & Sardegna on June 11

Da Maria’s is no stranger to traditional Italian dining. The Seminyak institution has spent the past eight years exploring authentic cuisine from all over the Mediterranean nation. Serving dishes from tip to toe of Italy’s boot, Da Maria’s menu has long been an ode to Italian eating in all its forms.

The venue’s latest event series is no exception – the much-loved Regional Italian Dinner Series will be returning this April 16 and June 11. The duo of events will be led by Lorenzo DePetris, Executive Chef of Da Maria, Luigis and Berawa’s Mosto, who has imparted his own experience in Italian cooking, including at Michelin-starred Restaurant Duomo in Sicily, into the menus for each.

“Da Maria has a very distinctive style and it was important to work with what has been such a success. At the same time,” he explains “I’ve introduced new dishes that work well on this menu and reflect my culinary roots.”

Up next on Tuesday, April 16 is the Lazio (or Roma) focused event. The central Italian region is perched on the Tyrrhenian Sea, with its main city Roma, Italy’s capital and was at the heart of the ancient Roman Empire.

Guests can expect to indulge in the home-style dishes for which Lazio is famous, like pasta alla carbonara, cacio e pepe and more. A curated set menu for two or more guests is available on the night, at 550K++ per person with a complimentary welcome drink on arrival.

Da Maria’s Lazio Regional Italian Dinner will be hosted on Tuesday 16 April from 5.00pm.
