Amanyara Reopens As a Reimagined Sanctuary Following Seasonal Closure

A haven of space and seclusion among lush coastal surroundings, Amanyara, Turks and Caicos, has reopened after a seasonal closure as a reimagined sanctuary following renovations of the communal spaces and select Villas.

Set on the shores of a 7,200-hectare nature reserve on the island of Providenciales, the resort’s reopening unveils a complete refurbishment of its communal spaces, including its reception, restaurants and Beach Club, inviting guests to experience a renewed sense of energy.

An Oasis Reimagined

The most recent in a long line of collaborations between the Aman brand and Jean-Michel Gathy of Denniston Architects, Amanyara reopens this season as a reinvigorated haven.

Long renowned for its unique welcome experience, Amanyara’s newly refreshed Entrance Pavilion sets the tone for every stay. To make the most impactful first impression, celebrated landscape architect, Raymond Jungles, has elevated the Entrance Pavilion, with large mahogany trees now framing the picturesque views across the central tranquility pond.

Wooden backgammon and chess boards further add to the space, enhancing its functionality, with the open-plan layout reconfigured to allow for greater privacy and creating an atmospheric spot in which to spend a restful morning or afternoon.

A newly forged pathway between the Entrance Pavilion and the kitchen also welcomes a casual dining area – a shaded spot perfect for enjoying an afternoon apéritif. Across the central ponds in the Main Restaurant, a full interior renovation reveals elegant art pieces adding eye-catching focal points to the lofty dining venue, while bespoke lighting design by international designer, The Flaming Beacon, and new furniture create a warm and welcoming ambience day and night.

Culinary Delights

This season, reinvigorated gastronomy concepts and an elevated culinary offering give guests the chance to enjoy the vibrant flavours of the Caribbean alongside an array of other cuisines, catering to every palate.

For those seeking a more casual dining experience down on the sand, the Beach Club has been upgraded, with multi-level decking shaded by new pergolas designed to maximise the panoramic views over the breathtaking natural scenery and turquoise waters. Also part of the renovation, the Beach Club’s bar now features an enhanced focus on contemporary mixology.
