Aman Launches Aman Interiors

  • Aman Interiors launches at Design Miami, unveiling its furniture designs to consumers for the first time
  • Encompassing limited edition furniture collections and an interior design service, Aman Interiors celebrates the brand’s 35-year design heritage
  • The brand’s first collaboration will be with renowned J apanese architect Kengo Kuma

Aman, the world’s most iconic hospitality and lifestyle brand, has launched Aman Interiors. This new division has been created following demand from long-standing clients to access the brand’s impeccable design credentials and much-loved aesthetic, but most importantly bringing its trusted DNA of peace, understated elegance, and quiet luxury into the home.

Aman Interiors enables clients to engage with the brand’s distinct design language at a deeper level. Firstly, Aman Interiors comprises its Foundations Collection of select furniture designs, which are brought to life by international artisans and specialist suppliers.

These designs are bespoke to Aman, draw inspiration from its destinations across the globe and available to clients upon enquiry. In addition, Aman Interiors will partner with architecture and design greats such as Kengo Kuma, to collaborate on limited-edition furniture pieces.

The company will also offer an interior design and sourcing service for owners of Aman Branded Residences, curating antiques and furniture, all seamlessly integrated with the bespoke, site-specific Aman Interiors designs.

Launched at Design Miami (5-10 December 2023), Aman Interiors presents its first collaboration, Migumi with Kengo Kuma. The Japanese architect, renowned for his celebration of the natural world in his work and frequent Aman collaborator, has created a signature dining table and chair for Aman Interiors, which is inspired by the fusion of sunlight and wood Kuma witnessed in Miami when designing Aman Miami Beach Residences, which are currently under construction.

Using a natural material palette featuring white oak and Calacatta Marble, the Migumi Chair and Migumi Table have dynamic relationships with their surroundings. As the sunlight changes throughout the day, the structure comes to life, creating shadows which form a dance of light and dark.

The Foundations Collection, available for purchase from early 2024, comprises exclusive designs, each of which has been created to embody the spirit of the brand in form, proportion and purity of material. Designed in the Aman Interiors London studio and handcrafted by artisanal makers across the globe, the Foundations pieces ground the physical spaces in tranquillity.

Vlad Doronin, Chairman, Owner and CEO of Aman Group and Chairman of Aman Interiors, said: “Design and architecture, including furniture design, have long been true passions of mine, and it was Aman’s elevated design aesthetic which first drew me to the brand as a guest.”
