Trip to Osaka, the Next Stop of Genki Sushi’s ‘From Japan to You’ Campaign

Genki Sushi presents ‘Trip to Osaka’ as a continuation of the From Japan to You campaign, bringing the unique cuisine of Osaka, which is renowned for its vibrant and diversified culinary scene. All of the ‘Trip to Osaka’ menu items are available at all Genki Sushi stores from 17 July to 17 September 2023.

Osaka’s strong culinary legacy has led to frequent references to it as the ‘Kitchen of Japan’. The city has a long history of being a major trading and port city, which has influenced its diversified and lively food scene. The ‘Trip to Osaka’ menu, which primarily consists of fried food and rice bowls, will include dishes inspired by the city’s famous street food culture.

“The ‘From Japan to You’ campaign is set to continue through the end of the year. Previously, we brought ‘Trip to Hokkaido’, which included a lot of soupy specialties, while on ‘Trip to Osaka’, Genki Sushi featured more rice bowls and fried dishes that are typical of Osaka. Through this campaign, Genki Sushi intends to highlight the broad variety of Japanese cuisine, introducing and encouraging people to try new things rather than always ordering the same thing,” said Stephanie Michelle Hendrawan, Head Marketing of Genki Sushi.
