Pullman Arrives on Lombok Island, Indonesia

The newly-built beachfront resort offers travelers an immersive escape for both work and play

Located on the southern coast of Indonesia’s island of Lombok, Pullman Lombok Mandalika Beach Resort is now open, providing travelers with an energizing destination to recharge and reconnect. The stylish 257-room resort features a modern approach to beachfront hospitality, nestled within a secluded bay and surrounded by verdant hills.

Only 20-minute from Lombok International Airport, the resort also offers convenient access to the nearby Pertamina Mandalika International Street Circuit, home to some of Southeast Asia’s most exciting motorsports events.

“The Pullman Lombok Mandalika Beach Resort is a fantastic addition to our network in Indonesia. The resort perfectly blends our stylish Pullman concepts with the local artistry of Indonesian designers, ensuring a vibrant experience across every touch point of the resort,” said Garth Simmons, Chief Executive Officer of Accor Southeast Asia, Japan and South Korea. “Pullman Lombok Mandalika Beach Resort boasts a modern and connective experience with extensive fitness and wellbeing facilities, enabling guests to maintain peak performance and personal wellbeing whilst on the road.”

Hotels and resorts in the Pullman portfolio are designed to meet travelers’ needs with stylish character and enticing spaces where guests can choose to remain connected, or simply escape from the pressure of daily life.

“Pullman Lombok Mandalika Beach Resort is the first five-star resort built in Mandalika, one of Indonesia’s Super Priority Tourism Destinations owing to its natural beauty and cultural richness. Mandalika will host world- class motorsport events such as the MotoGP and the World Superbike (WSBK) at our very own Mandalika International Circuit. We believe that travelers will continue to travel to the Mandalika area with MotoGP, WSBK, the Circuit and our new Pullman Resort serving as key attractions, thus creating a multiplier effect for the community,” said Ari Respati, President Director of PT Pengembangan Pariwisata Indonesia (Persero) and the Indonesia Tourism Development Corporation (ITDC).

Pullman Lombok Mandalika Beach Resort boasts 257 well-appointed rooms, spacious suites and villas that combine modern designed room interiors with traditional Sasak art, the indigenous tribe of Lombok. Guests are pampered with a private balcony in each room with the choice of garden views or stunning Indian Ocean views. Handcrafted bath amenities using locally sourced ingredients for suites and villas are available to upgrade the resort stay experience.

Prior to soaking up the sun or enjoying the sea breeze, guests are welcomed into the open-air Pullman lobby, called The Junction, to immerse themselves in local art. The Junction is more than just a place to arrive, eat and plug-in – it’s a vibrant and happening destination all on its own.

“We are very excited to introduce the first Pullman resort in Lombok at this prime location on the southern coast. We strive to provide travelers with inspiring, active and fun programs that focus on their wellbeing. Art also plays a significant part of the resort’s programming, allowing for a seamless playground to unlock guests’ imagination. We are thrilled to invite travelers to explore and up their game at our new vibrant playground in Lombok,” said Vincent Wybier, General Manager of Pullman Lombok Mandalika Beach Resort.

The resort features four dining venues, including Aer Restaurant – an all-day dining venue with classic comfort dishes and creative fusion tastes, and Sgara Seafood Restaurant, perfect for guests watching the sunset whilst enjoying the local catch of the day. The Lobby Lounge offers an artful and inviting open-air space with breathtaking ocean and pool views, while the swim-up bar, Lalo, is set right by the resort’s free-form swimming pool.
