Agung Sedayu Group Hotel Property Officially Joins Ascott Star Rewards Loyalty Program

Good news comes from the Hotel property owned by the Agung Sedayu Group (ASG) which is managed by The Ascott Limited (Ascott). Since June 2, 2022, hotel properties under the name of ASG group, namely HARRIS Vertu & YELLO Hotel Harmoni, Pesona Alam Resort & The Botanica Sanctuary and HARRIS Suites Puri Mansion have officially joined Ascott Star Rewards (ASR). 

ASR is Ascott’s integrated loyalty program and the first in the hotel industry by offering complete flexibility to earn and redeem points, as well as offering more benefits to members with bookings made directly via the website, the discover asr mobile app, via reservation. as well as through hotels.

Since the launch of ASR in 2019, its membership has grown by more than 40% annually. ASR members continue to feel the value of Ascott can be seen from 90% of direct booking contributions to Ascott online and more than 50% of ASR members are regulars. ASR members also spend 36% more with Ascott compared to non-members.

Sebastian Goldman, Corporate Director F&B and Ascott Indonesia Corporate Cluster General Manager for the Jakarta region, stated: “The inclusion of Agung Sedayu Group’s hotel properties in the ASR loyalty program is an endeavor to bring added value to customers as well as numerous conveniences and the greatest offers for its members.” 

“Staying guests will now earn ASR points while staying or purchasing food and beverages at ASG facilities that are Ascott members. ASR members can also take advantage of significant savings at our restaurant locations. ASR points can also be used to offset the cost of staying at any Ascott property worldwide on subsequent bookings, with no minimum point redemption.”

There is no fee for being an ASR member. ASR membership is divided into Classic, Silver, Gold, and Platinum levels, with each level providing additional privileges such as bonus points, free hotel upgrades, discounted birthday e-vouchers, airport transfers, and more check-in early and late check-out options. ASR members who link a work email address to their account before December 31, 2022 will gain extra points and a 30% discount certificate. Not yet a member?

With the Discover ASR mobile app, you can experience a ‘phygital’ experience

ASR members have had additional convenience and flexibility when reserving and staying at Ascott-owned properties since the launch of the Discover ASR mobile app in October 2020. Members of ASR can search for offers, manage their membership, buy and redeem ASR points, check-in and check-out, and make contactless payments.

As the network develops for guests to earn points for their stay, ASR members can monitor and manage reservations made via email, phone, and walk-in, and redeem their points for these reservations via the app or at the front desk. Other mobile app features allow guests to tailor their stay by sharing their pre-arrival and in-stay requests; receive ASR points if they opt not to engage housekeeping services as part of Ascott’s Go Green effort; and submit feedback on their stay via surveys on the mobile app.

Staying guests at Ascott can also access the main in-app interface and private messaging features that allow them to interact with fellow guests or communicate privately with the serviced residence’s receptionist.
