Hilton Hotels in Indonesia Come Together for “Pink Ribbon Campaign”

Series of Activities Planned Across Six Hotels In Support of Breast Cancer Awareness

Hilton hotels in Indonesia have come together to raise awareness and support fighters and survivors of breast cancer. In partnership with The Indonesian Breast Cancer Foundation, the hotels present “Pink Ribbon Campaign” starting October through December 2021. Hilton hotels in Indonesia remain committed to supporting the campaign to raising the awareness of breast cancer and the importance of early detection.

This year, the campaign is joined by Conrad Bali, Hilton Bali Resort, Hilton Bandung, DoubleTree by Hilton Jakarta – Diponegoro, DoubleTree by Hilton Surabaya and Hilton Garden Inn Jakarta Taman Palem.

Aimed to rally support for the cause and to encourage guests’ participation, numerous activities and promotions have been arranged at all six hotels. Guests can spread the spirit of pink by enjoying various pink-themed delights available at all hotels.

Taste the delectable Pink Velvet Cake and Pink Vanilla Cake at Hilton Bandung, DoubleTree by Hilton Jakarta – Diponegoro, DoubleTree by Hilton Surabaya and Hilton Garden Inn Jakarta Taman Palem; or indulge in the exquisite Red Velvet Cake at Conrad Bali and Hilton Bali Resort. Guests can also relish in the pink sweet treats and beverage selection, from lattes to smoothies, from mocktails to cocktails.

During the campaign period, Hilton Bandung and DoubleTree by Hilton Surabaya offer room packages with attractive benefits and pink-themed welcome amenities. Selected hotels also encourage staying guests to contribute through voluntary donation and receive gifts and prizes as a token of appreciation for their participation.

At DoubleTree by Hilton Jakarta – Diponegoro, guests who donate and/or purchase a Pink Vanilla Cake will be presented with the hotel’s exclusive Pink Teddy Bear. Guests staying at Conrad Bali can purchase a Pink Co-Monk doll and stand a chance to win exclusive lucky draw items. A portion of the proceeds from all activities and promotions will be donated to The Indonesian Breast Cancer Foundation.

Andre Gomez, Regional General Manager of Indonesia & Timor Leste said, “As one of the largest hospitality companies in the world, we always aim to make a meaningful impact on the communities we operate in. Despite the global pandemic and its effect to our hotels and the industry, it does not diminish the importance of raising awareness of this important condition.

This year, with our social campaign #HiltonPinkMonth, we are proud to join hands together across Hilton hotels in Indonesia in support of this cause across the nation and the foundation. Dedicating our time and energy to the various activities and rallying our Team Members and the public together for this common cause is our way of showing our support for the survivors and those who are currently impacted by this condition.”

Linda Agum Gumelar, Founder and Chairwoman of The Indonesian Breast Cancer Foundation said, “I feel deeply moved and have so much appreciation to the management of Hilton hotels in Indonesia, who are determined to support this campaign as a means to raise awareness of the importance of early detection for breast cancer.”

“This marks the fifth year of our collaboration with DoubleTree by Hilton Jakarta – Diponegoro, and I am delighted to collaborate with other Hilton hotels in Indonesia this year. I look forward to reach out to even more people and to spread the message even further across Indonesia.”

Hitlon’s hotels are also conducting internal activities involving its team members including events such as Pink Ribbon Board at Hilton Bandung and participate in Bali Virtual Pink Ribbon Race at Conrad Bali. There will also be a call for direct donation to The Indonesian Breast Cancer Foundation.
