The Slate Celebrates Equality with its Fabulous New Pride Package for the LGBTQ Community

Let the rainbow flags fly high! The Slate Phuket, the whimsical art-inspired beachfront resort, is rolling out the welcome mat for the LGBTQ community with its new Pride package, which gives couples the opportunity to enjoy a fabulous vacation and experience the island’s famous nightlife.

Under this exclusive offer, valid until the end of April 2021, same-sex and gender-neutral guests can book a choice of rooms, including indulgent pool suites and villas, with rates starting from just THB 5,600 net per night for two people sharing. Getting to and from the hotel is easy with private roundtrip airport transfers, and upon arrival, couples will be greeted with a special Rainbow Cocktail, setting the scene for a sublime stay by the Andaman Sea.

Every morning marks the start of a new adventure at The Slate, with daily breakfast either at the Tin Mine restaurant, or in the comfort of the suite or villa. During the day, couples can unwind at the pool or soothe their senses with a complimentary 60-minute massage at the serene Coqoon Spa for two people.

For guests seeking extra pampering during their stay, the Pride package also offers 15 percent discounts on spa treatments and dining, as well as “Hir and Hir” in-room amenities.

Curious explorers who want to delve deeper into their destination will be able to benefit from the hotel’s concierge who will introduce them to Phuket’s famous gay scene. Under the Pride package, guests staying for five night or longer will be rewarded with free transfers to the lively bars and clubs of Phuket Town and Patong.

LGBTQ couples who extend their stay will also be treated to a romantic Thai set dinner, either at Black Ginger, the breath-taking restaurant that appears to float above a tranquil lagoon, in the seclusion of their suite or villa, or outside under the twinkling stars (for villa guests only). In-room body spa treatments can be arranged in the Pearl Shell Suites and Villas (with male therapists available upon request), and social couples can easily stay in touch with other guests via the hotel’s WhatsApp Group Chat.

For ultimate romance, The Slate can arrange an enchanting array of wedding, honeymoon or anniversary benefits during these special stays.

While The Slate is not exclusively an LGBTQ resort, it is proud to fly the rainbow flag and celebrate the timeless values or equality, diversity and inclusivity. Phuket’s only art-inspired beachfront resort lets all guests immerse themselves in a wonderful world of art and design, influenced by Phuket’s rich tin mining heritage.

Conceived by Bill Bensley, the maverick hotel architect and designer, this quirky seafront sanctuary is nestled in 25 acres of landscaped gardens and features a collection of stunning suites and villas, including the spectacular Bensley Suite, dazzling dining, world-class wellness and authentic activities, from yoga to Thai boxing.

To ensure the highest standards of health and hygiene, The Slate has been awarded the Amazing Thailand Safety and Health Administration (SHA) certificate by the Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT).

The Pride package is available to all same-sex and gender-neutral guests from outside Thailand (local guests can also book dedicated offers with the resort directly). Bookings must be made before 30th April 2021, for stays taken between 16th October 2020 and 30th April 2021.
