The luxury boutique hotel group, Alila Hotels and Resorts, is launching five new properties this year and will be expanding its portfolio into three dynamic new destinations. The unveiling of new hotels in Sri Lanka and Malaysia and a collection of villas in Cambodia will add to the group’s collection which presently has properties in Indonesia, the Middle East, India, China and the most recently the US. Alongside this, a second property in Jakarta will cater for all types of travel, from business to pleasure as well as a third resort in China.

Alila SCBD will be the group’s second property in Jakarta and will serve as a vibrant and modern retreat for both young urbanities and business travellers. Alila SCBD is in the heart of Jakarta’s Financial District, with easy access to leading corporate offices, world-class shopping and entertainment facilities. The hotel will also be home to the South East Asian outposts of the Hakkasan, Sake no Hana and the OMNIA luxury lifestyle brands. The two new restaurants and nightclub, managed by Hakkasan Group, will ensure the hotel is the ultimate destination for dining and entertainment in the city. Along with Hakkasan Group, guests can have breakfast at Vong Kitchen or a late night bite at the 24-hour Le Burger, both by Michellin Star Chef Jean- George. The resort will feature 63 suites and villas; the one- and two-bedroom pool villas each with their own terrace, private pool and garden.
