In an exciting collaboration, Converse and Foot Locker have come together to present Sneaker Talk, an event that took place at the Foot Locker store in Grand Indonesia, East Mall on Saturday, March 30, 2024. This event featured three young speakers who shared their perspectives on Converse shoes, fashion, and sports.

1. Yassa (Yesaya Saudale), a promising basketball athlete from the Pelita Jaya club, discussed his off-court style preferences and the typical everyday fashion choices of athletes.

2. Gio, a member of the Converse All Star team and a fashion pillar, shared insights on blending styles with the new Converse Weapon collection for daily fashion and his personal experience with these innovative silhouettes.

TipTip, East Ventures Collaborates with Addie MS Twilite Orchestra to Hold a Video Game Concert in May

TipTip entertainment platform, complete with numerous features to facilitate different types of gatherings and events along with East Ventures a well-known venture capital company (VC) and pioneer for investment in startup technologies in Indonesia and South East Asia, is working in a special collaboration with composers and conductors of Twilite Orchestra, Addie MS to initiate a musical symphony concert inspired by compositions from popular video games. The musical symphony show entitled “Video Game Concert” will be held on May the 25th, 2024 at Ciputra Artpreneur, Jakarta.

By taking the initiative and supporting role for such a special collaboration with Addie MS, a maestro in musical symphony and a brilliant and well-known content creator, Video Game Concert presents several compositions behind legendary video games that already had their place in the hearts of gamers. The collaboration is a part of TipTip’s commitment and high enthusiasm for supporting the growth of the creative economy by merging different elements in society and empowering workers and communities in the field of creative industry through technology and innovation.

Alongside his seasoned, multicultural team of chefs, sommeliers, mixologists, architects, artists, and designers, Chef Syrco is showcasing the importance of respectful partnerships with suppliers and strong relationships with local communities throughout each of the culinary hub’s five distinct areas.

Affirming this philosophy and with diverse collaborations at its heart, Syrco BASÈ is excited to announce its inaugural series of local and international collaborative events:Collection I.

Kicking off on 26 March at 7pm, Bali’s most revered beach club and sustainability trailblazer, Potato Head, will be joining the team of Syrco BASÈ Bar for an evening devoted to Indonesia’s innovative mixology scene and hospitality industry heroes. Overlooking an emerald rice field, seating for 20 guests encircles the central bar and live kitchen, providing the ideal stage for individual expertise and inspired collaboration.

Coming in at no. 39 on the World’s 50 Best Restaurants 2023 list, the Michelin Guide describes The Jane as “a designer-inspired culinary temple” that is lauded for its sophisticated and highly skilled cooking.

After the two world class chefs seek inspiration while visiting a local permaculture gardener and wild food forager, diners can embark on an exclusive and edifying culinary journey with drinks pairing from 5.00 pm to 8.00 pm at Syrco BASE Ku, the culinary hub’s intimate, immersive space for a maximum of 12 guests.

DestinAsian magazine has once again tallied up the results of its annual poll for the Readers’ Choice Awards, which is featured in the March/May 2024 print issue. Now in its 17th year, the Award gives readers the chance to cast their votes and recognize the best of the luxury travel industry in the Asia-Pacific region.

The latest poll was conducted between August and November 2023, with DestinAsian readers nominating their favourites in 36 different categories including hotels and resorts, serviced residences, airlines, airports, cruise lines, and destinations.

Optional comments allowed voters to elaborate on the attributes of their top picks, be it friendliness of staff and service, convenient location, modern facilities, quality of dining options, comfort, and design.
