Jogja Coffee Week #5: Journey to the Brew

Indonesia’s most vibrant coffee celebration is back. Following the overwhelming success of last year’s Jogja Coffee Week #4, this year’s edition is turning up the heat. Jogja Coffee Week #5, themed Journey to the Brew, is set to take place on September 5–7, 2025, at Hall B & C of the Jogja Expo Center (JEC)—promising an even richer experience for coffee lovers, professionals, and entrepreneurs alike.

Organized by PT Medialink Internasional and Mahaka Attraction, and powered by KADIN Indonesia, KADIN DIY, ASKI, Pemda DIY, and TV One as main media partner, JCW #5 is more than just a caffeine-fueled gathering—it’s a bold move to strengthen Indonesia’s position in the global coffee game.

Brewing More Than Just Coffee

“This is more than an event. It’s proof that our coffee industry is dynamic, thriving, and ready for the world stage,” says Rahadi Saptata Abra, Chairman of JCW #5.

From bean to cup, the event bridges the full value chain—empowering farmers, roasteries, coffee shops, and brands. It’s a catalyst for economic recovery, a launchpad for global exports, and a place where innovation meets tradition.

“Kopi is one of Indonesia’s cultural and economic pillars. Jogja Coffee Week is where collaboration, creativity, and community collide,” adds GKR Mangkubumi, Chairwoman of KADIN DIY.

7 National Coffee Competitions. One Epic Arena.

JCW #5 is raising the bar with seven national-level competitions, including:

  • Green Bean Competition – featuring a premium Indonesian Coffee Showcase pavilion, free cupping sessions, and live coffee auctions with global buyers.
  • Brewers Competition
  • Cup Taster Challenge
  • Latte Art Competition
  • Barista Innovation Challenge
  • Fun Roasting Showdown

These are not just contests—they’re proving grounds for the next generation of coffee heroes.
