The Indonesian Hotel Public Relations Association (H3 Indonesia), in collaboration with the Indonesian Public Relations Association (PERHUMAS), held the inaugural edition of H3XPO, a curated B2B exhibition aiming to strengthen connections between the hospitality sector and corporate communication professionals.
The event, themed “Connecting Hospitality & Corporate Synergy”, took place on Friday, May 23, 2025, at Autograph Tower, Thamrin Nine Complex, Jakarta, bringing together members of both associations to explore business potential and future partnerships.
H3 Indonesia initiated this event in response to shifting market dynamics, particularly the decline in government-related hotel bookings due to the state’s ongoing cost-efficiency policies. These adjustments have reduced the use of hotels for government events, prompting the industry to explore alternative markets.
“H3XPO is designed to create curated and targeted meetings, granting direct access to decision-makers involved in business travel arrangements, corporate events, and potential long-term partnerships,” said Yulia Maria, Chairperson of H3 Indonesia.
“We believe this synergy between H3’s hotel network and PERHUMAS members from diverse corporate backgrounds opens the door to mutually beneficial collaborations,” she added.
Glory Oyong, Vice Chair for Public Communication and Public Relations at PERHUMAS, echoed this sentiment, highlighting the importance of bridging industries through practical collaboration.
“We truly appreciate H3 Indonesia’s initiative in launching H3XPO. This is a tangible example of cross-industry collaboration between PR professionals and the hospitality sector,” said Oyong.

“Post-pandemic realities and changes in government spending policies have undoubtedly presented new challenges. But as this forum shows, challenges also bring opportunities. H3XPO facilitates new business connections, helping hotels and corporates move forward together.”
The event featured interactive business sessions, hospitality showcases, and dialogue forums—all focused on cultivating partnerships and adapting to the evolving landscape of business events and travel.
