A Global Bouquet of Flavours: Sofitel’s Limited-Edition Floral Croissant Collection Blooms in Seven Destinations

Luxury and gastronomy meet once again in Sofitel’s most poetic culinary creation yet. This spring, the French-born hospitality brand unveils La Haute Croissanterie Blossoms, a limited-edition collection of croissants inspired by the essence of flowers from around the globe. The initiative extends the highly successful launch of La Haute Croissanterie in 2024 and transforms the classic butter croissant into an artful ode to heritage, elegance, and terroir.

From the cherry blossoms of Seoul to the bold vibrance of Benin’s wild hibiscus, each croissant in the collection tells a story through layers of crisp pastry, delicate floral infusions, and impeccable craftsmanship. Created by Sofitel’s talented pastry chefs and available exclusively in seven select properties worldwide, this four-month campaign marks a graceful intersection between haute patisserie and cultural reverence.

“The tradition of gifting flowers transcends cultures,” says Anne-Cécile Degenne, Sofitel’s Corporate Executive Chef. “La Haute Croissanterie Blossoms reinterprets that gesture through taste—an edible bouquet designed to surprise and delight.”

Seoul Bom Blush: A Cherry Blossom Reverie

Of particular note is the Seoul Bom Blush, the star of the collection and the only croissant that will be available for a limited time in one location: Sofitel Ambassador Seoul Hotel & Serviced Residences. Inspired by Korea’s iconic cherry blossom season, the croissant features whipped sakura ganache and a vibrant raspberry gel nestled in golden, flower-shaped layers of laminated dough.

Crafted by Pastry Chef Hyunho Lim, the Seoul Bom Blush brings hanami—the Japanese-Korean tradition of flower viewing—into the realm of fine dining. Guests can experience it at Jardin d’Hiver on the sixth floor of the hotel, with the first 30 visitors on 1 May 2025 receiving a complimentary piece. Elegant indulgence has never felt so fleeting.
