Perched atop the 80-story One Shenzhen Bay tower, Raffles Shenzhen is more than a five-star hotel—it is a sculptural statement of refined living, blending visionary design with cultural nuance. Since its debut in 2019, the hotel has remained a striking landmark in southern China’s burgeoning skyline, a creation brought to life by the acclaimed LW Design Group.
Where the Sky Meets Serenity
Step into the Sky Lobby on the 34th floor and you’re greeted not just by sweeping views of the Pearl River Delta, but by a calming sense of grandeur. Warm woods, polished marble, and brushed metallics create an atmosphere that is both majestic and welcoming—a delicate balance that defines the aesthetic language throughout the hotel.

With just 168 rooms and suites, each space is crafted as a private retreat. The interiors reflect a restrained palette of natural hues, silk-paneled walls, and curated artifacts that pay homage to Shenzhen’s cultural heritage. The Presidential Suite, at a generous 465 square meters, showcases warm amber tones, bespoke furnishings, and panoramic windows that blur the line between indoors and out.
Spa Design as Art
Down on the 33rd floor, Raffles Spa reimagines wellness with a layout that seamlessly guides guests from deep relaxation to revitalization. Textures shift, lighting evolves, and subtle touches—scented candles, plush pillows in calming greens—bring a sense of home to this elevated escape.

The hotel’s culinary offerings are equally theatrical. A jewel-box patisserie on the ground floor glows under amethyst-hued lights, while the all-day dining venue on Level 34 features lacquered doors, duck egg-blue shagreen inlays, and plush seating by floor-to-ceiling windows. The signature Japanese restaurant evokes minimalist sophistication with sakura motifs, rose-gold accents, and towering sake shelves, creating an ambiance that is intimate yet undeniably chic.
