Taking place on 5th to 6th October 2024, from 3 pm to 10 pm at Laguna Grove, within Laguna Phuket, the area will be transformed into a lively center with stunning displays celebrating the diversity and beauty of Chinese traditions.
The festivities will commence with a presentation by the Thai Peranakan Association. Their performance, titled “Window of Phuket Peranakan’s Way of Life,” provides a glimpse into the beautiful blend of local and Chinese influences that shape Phuket’s cultural landscape.
Guests can also enjoy the soulful melodies of a “Guzheng” recital, the energy of local school performances, and a heartwarming sing-a-long by Kai Toon, a young talent blending Chinese and Thai songs. The highlight of this event will be a stellar performance by Thassapak Hsu, also known as Bie.
The celebrated Thai-Taiwanese singer and actor, renowned for his lead role in “My Girlfriend is an Alien,” brings a compelling fusion of Thai and Chinese artistry to the stage. Born in Taipei to a Thai mother and Taiwanese father, Bie’s performance promises to be a vibrant celebration of his unique cultural background.
