Welcoming Festive Day of Eid Al-Fitr, Starbucks Opens First Stores in Garut, Kudus and Salatiga

Starbucks Ahmad Yani Kudus is located on the city’s main road, specifically on Jl. Jend. Ahmad Yani No.79 Magersari, Panjunan, Kudus, and opened on April 19, 2023 for its customers.

The Menara Kudus Mosque inspired the design of the first City of Kretek store, which was influenced by the careful technique and craftsmanship in the use of Majapahit style red bricks. The earthy color palette represents coffee garden elements that complement the use of bricks in the façade, celebrating local heritage and creating an exhilarating experience for the city’s first store.

Starbucks Diponegoro Salatiga will open for business on April 21, 2023. The original exterior design and stained-glass windows of Salatiga’s first Starbucks store have been preserved, while the interior incorporates heritage elements with a modern twist.

The blue color is still used to add a bit of freshness to this 244m2 store. A rattan and teak wood ceiling feature direct customers’ attention to the bar, and the featured artwork behind it is inspired by every natural element of coffee. Large and small community tables are also available to welcome Customers, making the booth a comfortable third place experience.

Entering its 21st anniversary, Starbucks has expanded to more than 40 cities in Indonesia by the end of 2022, with more than 4,300 partners who are proud to wear the green apron. And today, the company offers many ways for customers to connect with their loved ones over a high-quality cup of Starbucks coffee.
