The hotels SMART Strategy Drives innovation to the Next Level
During the last twelve month, HARRIS Vertu Harmoni Hotel implemented a series of technological innovations in support of their SMART (hotel) strategy (that is – Smart technology; Smart marketing; Smart employees; Smart environment). One of the most recent technology implementations is the cleaning robot called Mr. Clean.
The robot is equipped with Artificial intelligence and can mob or vacuum the floor. He works alongside our housekeeping team and supplements their high quality cleaning services. Mr Clean is an autonomous robot, who takes care of day-to-day lobby floor cleaning. His main functions are the efficient vacuuming and touchless floor sanitization. Thanks to the automatic mode that uses technologies like infrared sensors, ultrasonic sensors and artificial intelligence, he independently cleans with professional quality standards.
Mr Clean is more than just a robot; he is a kind of an “assistant” for the cleaning staff. He does the jobs that are time-consuming, monotonous and he helps to optimize hotel operations. Moreover, Christoph Voegeli the hotel’s General Manager explains – “one main reason for us to implement a cleaning robot is that it enables us to offer better service (hygiene) to our guests and improved efficiency”.

The property has been recognized by its many guest-focused innovations as manifested through a number of prestigious awards and certifications (e.g. Muse Award and TUV Rheinland Certification) the hotel earned in 2021.
