Holiday Inn & Suites Jakarta Gajah Mada welcomes the prosperous arrival of the year of the metal rat with an array of special festive offerings and invites diners to ring in the new year by enjoying a range of dining indulgences overflowing with the taste of the orient. This special Chinese New Year cuisine and celebration of the annual reunion dinner on Chinese New Year’s Eve – 24 January 2020 starting at 7pm at two venues; Duta Café & Restaurant and Harmony Grand Ballroom.

Gather your loved ones together and enjoy the reunion feast at Duta Café and Restaurant on level 3. Chinese New Year dinner buffet highlights include; Yee Sang or commonly known as Prosperity toss, Hipio Soup with Crab Meat, Roast Duck, Pork Ribs with Red Wine, Fried Dory Fish with Balinese Citrus Sauce, Lemon Grass Pudding, and much, much more.

Diners will be entertained by barongsai, guzheng and Er Hu music, magician and illusionist and oriental singer live music. Diners can enjoy this all-you-can eat style buffet affordably at IDR 398.000++. Diners will also be spoiled with extra discount from hotel’s credit card banking partners or using their IHG Rewards Club or Gourmet Collection membership.

Yee Shang

Harmony Grand Ballroom will feature a 10-course set menu with Oriental taste made by our dedicated Chinese specialist chef, Toong Kah Chin. The celebration spread features auspicious signature Chinese dishes to welcome prosperity and fortune for the Lunar New Year. Diners will have some auspicious dishes including; Yee Sang, Five Combinations, Fish Maw Soup and Bamboo Mushroom (Cuk Sang) with Chicken, Roasted Duck, Angsio Abalone 6 Heads with Pomelo Sauce, Lap Cheong & Yun Cheong Fried Rice on Lotus Leaf, Dry Longan & Peach Gum with White Fungus and Sesame Fried Chinese Year Rice Cake and Pao.

Fish Maw Soup

Diners at Harmony Grand Ballroom will fully entertained during the evening with barongsai and liong dance, guzheng and Er Hu musical performance, Chinese calligraphy, bian lian (face changing), magician and illusionist, oriental band, also diners can get a chance to win lucky hong bao. It costs IDR 898.000++/person for one table of 10 people.
