Flat Stanley, The Creative New Cocktail

Think tropical twists on classic tipple.

Central Seminyak dining space Flat Stanley has just welcomed a vibrant new cocktail menu to coincide with the start of a new season. Maintaining its passion for California cool, the eclectic eatery, which borders the luxury Alila Seminyak, has just introduced nine new drinks, each a tropical twist on a classic cocktail.

Take for instance the East LA Mojito; a mixture of rum and passionfruit, topped with mint and lime, or the Hollywood Martini; a concoction of vodka, lychee, triple sec, and the Big Sur Daiquiri; Nusa Cana rum, absinthe, passionfruit, orange, and guava.

“There’s no conflict between a better cocktail and a better world,” says chef Matt White. “At Flat Stanley we make our cocktails by mixing an interesting blend of local fruits and spirits and put a California twist on them to make perfectly balanced drinks that hit that Bali sweet spot.”

Experience the new cocktail menu for yourself, with a slice of Flat Stanley’s famed sourdough pizza, voted the best in Seminyak on a recent TripAdvisor poll, now available topped with barbecue chicken. Or perhaps you’re more tempted by the restaurant’s American-take on a local favourite nasi goreng, with the Cali Goreng that’s just landed on the menu.

Dinner now comes accompanied with a side of entertainment on Saturdays between 7.00-10.00pm, when some of the island’s brightest musical talent descends on the terrace as a part of vibrant new weekly musical addition Flat Stan Jam.
