Gran Melia Jakarta launches new menu at its premier Chinese restaurant, Tien Chao. The new revamped dishes are abundant in variety, with more combination of Cantonese & Szechuan with local taste.
The chefs incorporate innovative elements with classic ones in their cooking techniques and create over 15 brand new dishes that featured only the freshest and best seasonal ingredients. Tien Chao is set to please with fresh appetisers, delicious soups, delightful seafood dishes; as well as a unique mix of Tien Chao’s classic favorites and the new innovative dishes. Among the array of sumptuous new menus are available to be served from a la carte, set menus, dim sum a la carte as well as the weekend All You Can Eat Dim Sum.
With a distinct flavor and contemporary presentation, some of the new signature dishes on the menu are spare rib with black bean, Szechuan spicy chicken, roasted Peking duck, crispy golden prawn with orange sauce, fried rice with foie gras, and the Tien Chao’s favourite; seafood dumpling soup.
Diners may also indulge in a more refreshed dim sum dishes including scallop dumpling with caviar, crabmeat and goji dumpling, chicken can pao, shanghai wo tie, radish cake with balacan sauce and not to mention Tien Chao’s specialties of egg custard and salted yolk pao as well as ‘sui kau’ in chili oil and vinegar.
In addition to the à la carte menu, our chefs team have also created an elevated set menus for exclusive occasion featuring some of the favorite dishes including double boil sea cucumber & pacific clam with chicken broth, hot & sour jelly fish, crispy roasted pork belly, steamed tiger grouper fid fillet Hunan style, crispy chicken with golden salted egg and many others.
Tien Chao’s dramatic desserts have also received a seasonal upgrade, with the famed bird nest in almond cream, sweetened red bean soup with lotus seeds, and fresh mango pudding served with ice cream. The new menu of Tien Chao are available to enjoy starting from September 3rd2018, starting from IDR 38,000++ for à la carte menu, IDR 588,000++ for set menu and IDR 188,000++ for All You Can Eat Dim Sum on Saturday and Sunday.
