Since its first inception in 2001 and with its first hotel, Harris Resort Batam Waterfront in 2002 – Harris has endeavored to bring innovation in every possible way, from room design and comfort, advanced technology, to guest satisfaction monitoring and employee empowerment.
Under the guidance of Jean-Jacques Loubry, Corporate F&B and Procurement Manager, this year Harris Hotels will launch, starting 1 March 2016, revamped F&B menus offering enhanced signature dishes inspired by thorough customers’ surveys and regional delicacies.
The acclaimed top favorites, Nasi Goreng (Fried Rice) & Sop Buntut (Oxtail Soup), will of course be featured with a special house tweak.
Tauzia F&B Team went through great lengths and browsed hundreds of recipes in search for cooking wisdom to entice both local & international food lovers. “With our Chefs, we wished to really dive into the authentic way of preparing these most beloved dishes and introduce key local ingredients like kemangi (lemon basil), sambal terasi (shrimp paste), ikan teri (anchovies) & kerupuk gendar (gendar crackers) for Nasi Goreng for example,” added Jean-Jacques.
The excitement doesn’t just stop there. HARRIS Hotels will also feature 3 new creations: Giant Vegetarian Burger, Giant Beef Burger and last but never least, the most mouthwatering Chocolate Lava Cake for dessert.
“All these items will be available in all 20 HARRIS Hotels across Indonesia. And in addition to this, hotels in different regions will come up with distinctive local cuisines adapted to their specific clients.”
