Representing Indonesia and China, respectively, this bilateral signing took place at Bali International Convention Center (BICC) in Bali on Monday, November 25, 2013. The event was part of the agenda during the World Culture Forum (WCF) held from November 24 to 27 in Bali.
Speaking in front of journalists, Mr. Nuh expressed his delight, as the joint communiqué signed by both Indonesia and China means strengthening the bilateral relation between the two countries.
“Indonesia and China have been enjoying the G to G strategic, comprehensive partnership. That’s the highest level of bilateral relation. But that’s from the general bilateral perspective. In the ministerial level, we are still in the beginning of pace,” Mr. Nuh remarked
He, nevertheless, expressed his optimism that the two country’s relation gets stronger over the time. “With this joint communiqué signing on culture, we plan to build Rumah Budaya (House of Culture) in each country.”
