Chilean Wine Dinner: A Match Made in Bengawan

Bengawan invites you to an evening of unrivaled pleasures featuring a remarkable six-course set dinner specially prepared by Chef Lamberto Valdez Lara, paired perfectly with the finest selections of Chilean wines – a perfect match made in Bengawan.

The event starts at 6.30 pm with an intimate cocktail reception at Keraton Lounge, followed by the elegant 6-course Dinner at 7:00 pm where guests will enjoy a sampling of  the producer’s highly praised vintages including a 2009 Marqués de Casa Concha, Chardonnay, a 2009 Marqués de Casa Concha, Merlot, a 2008 Don Melchor, Cabernet Sauvignon, a 2009 Almaviva, and a 2008 Marqués de Casa Concha, Carmenere carefully matched to a gourmet menu created by Chef Lamberto.  

Highlights during cocktails include the finest canapé menus: Hojaldre de queso brie, Puff pastry filled with brie cheese, walnuts, raspberry sauce; Estructura de aguacate, layered avocado, scallops, crabmeat, citrus emulsion; and Camaron encocado, crusted jumbo shrimp, and mango relish.

During dinner, Chef Lamberto will present his exceptional creations: Hamachi crudo, chili apple slaw, ruby red grapefruit, micro wasabi; Cordoniz con polenta, a perfectly grilled quail, creamy polenta, merlot reduction; Guava Sorbet; Spit fired leg of Lamb, confit of potatoes, pastel de choclo, white asparagus, rosemary red wine reduction; Boneless braised short rib, potato, celeriac puree, thyme, red wine jus; and for dessert, Papaya, mango crepes with pastry cream, churro katafi, drizzled with warm caramel sauce.  

The 6-course Chilean Wine Dinner is a one-night exclusive, available on May 2nd, 2013 at 6.30 PM at IDR 750.000 per person. Price is subject to applicable 21% government tax and service charge.
