Jakarta, February 2013 – Four Seasons Hotel Jakarta announces the appointment of Chef Eric Pellen as the new Executive Sous Chef. Hailing from France, Chef Eric brings more than 20 years of experience in top hotels and restaurants around the world.

“We are very excited to welcome Chef Eric to our family here in Jakarta and to have him join our already diverse team. His background will bring an interesting mix to our creative culinary team,” says General Manager, Vikram Reddy.

With his expertise in French culinary and an artistic sense of cooking style, one can count on Chef Eric to wow the palate with just about anything he creates, be it a simple dish with a French twist or an immaculate six-course dining experience.

Originating from Britanny, a small town in North West of France, Chef Eric has experienced a world of cultures and cuisines with his vast International culinary journey in different continents, from Europe, Asia to the Middle East.

Together with the Four Seasons Hotel Jakarta creative culinary team, Chef Eric is ready to revamp the Hotel’s offerings of cuisines with exciting new menus and signature dishes that enhance the tastes of Jakarta’s cosmopolitan culinary scene.

Four Seasons Hotel Jakarta features dining options such as The Steak House, which offers a variety of prime and wagyu beef presentations, all prepared on its signature wood burning grill; Lai Ching, a contemporary dining scene with garden views and an authentic ambiance serving a wide variety of Chinese cuisine and its popular dim sum menu; Seasons Café, serving western, Indonesian, Asian and home style choices including city’s favorite Sunday Brunch and The Deli, offering freshly baked breads – made on the premises, sandwiches, pastries, cakes, pies and chocolates.
