Nine Artists for the Premiere Painting Exhibition of “Jakarta Going Vertical” at Pullman Jakarta Central Park.

Jakarta, November 19, 2012 – Pullman Jakarta Central Park proudly presents a premiere painting exhibition named “Jakarta Going Vertical”.  With this idea of the Jakarta expansion that is going vertically, Pullman Jakarta Central Park would unveil the potential of local Indonesian young artists whom influenced by the ideas of Jakarta urbanization and its consequences.  Even though the urbanization has multiple impacts, such as the lack to get inspirational settings, it is in this case creating an impetus for artists to produce masterpieces.

There are nine artists from Yogyakarta participating in this event. The following are the local nine artists known by their artistic names; Lovehatelove, Muck, HereHere, NSIDEONE, Oyster One, who are all originally from Yogyakarta, NICK23, originally from Cilacap, Tuyuloveme, originally from Central Java, Oaker, originally from Jakarta, and Bidhe One, originally from Surabaya. These young artists will show their talent through their extraordinary artworks.
The exhibition will take place in the Foyer of L floor at the hotel and begin with an opening, held solely for invitations, on Thursday evening, December 6, 2012 from 7 to 9 pm. During this night, the nine urban artist from Yogyakarta will introduce themselves to the attendees. Moreover, the exhibition lasts for one month until Monday, January 7, 2013, and opens for public. Everyone is welcome to visit and able to purchase any artworks he or she loves to bring home.
