Jakarta, December 2012 –The Ritz-Carlton Jakarta, Mega Kuningan achieved pinnacle success with receiving two prestigious awards as Indonesia Leading Luxury Hotel and Indonesia Hotel of the Year 2012/2013 presented by Indonesia Travel and Tourism Awards Foundation (ITTA). The awarding ceremony gave a red carpet welcome to honored guests and nominees held at the Grand Ballroom in The Ritz-Carlton Jakarta, Mega Kuningan on Monday, 10th December 2012.

It was an evening of gowns and black ties as guests arrived for the awarding gala event in celebration of Indonesia’s best in travel and tourism industry. The ITTA Foundation quote themselves to be “Awarding the Best, Inspiring the Rest” and this annual event is recognized as the country’s prominent awarding night. The awards given to The Ritz-Carlton Jakarta, Mega Kuningan were symbolically received by our Director of Sales and Marketing, Harry Suryadharma and Executive Chef, Rudolph Blattler.

This year the ITTA Foundation released 42 nominating categories, which includes Indonesia’s leading hotel brands, airlines, luxury resorts, service suites and apartments to travel agents, cruise operators, airports and many more, who exudes the highest quality and hospitality experience.

Winners were announced after a sturdy process of online voting and the judging committee by independent board of advisors, comprising of prominent tourism and business personalities as well as final validation by ITTA Knowledge and research partner, Binus Business School.
